Number two seed Karen Khachanov, ranked 11 in the world, will play the Dutch wildcard qualifier Tallon Griekspoor in the round of 32 in the Rotterdam Open on Tuesday, February 12. The match is scheduled to take place at 8.30 pm local time (7.30 pm BST).

Khachanov, on the Verge of the Top Ten
22-year old Khachanov had a breakthrough year in 2018, winning his first Masters title in beating Novak Djokovic in the final in Paris, and claiming two other ATP titles.
The world number 11 would have started the year hoping to build on those achievements, but results to date in 2019 have been disappointing, with early exits in Doha and Sofia last week, and defeat in the round of 32 to Roberto Bautista Agut in Melbourne.
However, he did help his side to Davis Cup triumph over Switzerland at the start of the month, and will be expected to brush past the challenge of Griekspoor with little difficulty. He will be hoping that a run deep into the competition in Rotterdam this week will get his season back on track.
Griekspoor – Little known Local Player
The name Tallon Griekspoor may well be little known outside his native Holland, or, indeed, to anybody but the keenest tennis fan.
The 22-year old who was born in Haarlem has played most of his tennis to date on the ITF Futures circuit, and the ATP Challenger Tour where he won his first title last year in Finland, beat Juan Ignacio Londero on the clay of Tampere.
He made his ATP senior tour debut in this tournament two years ago against Gilles Müller of Luxembourg, and it was here that he had his biggest career win to date, beating Stan Wawrinka in the first round. He is currently ranked 181 in the world.
