Albert Ramos-Vinolas v Nuno Borges Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 34 year old Spaniard, and his Portuguese opponent, nine years younger.

Portuguese Number Two Borges
Borges has come as close as anybody has for several years to challenging Joao Sousa’s status as the Portuguese number one player, after winning the doubles on home soil in Estoril and enjoying some success on the Challenger tour.
He was runner-up in a final in Italy in March and a month later lifted the trophy in another event.
All that occurred on clay, his favourite surface.
However, he enjoyed something of a breakthrough on hard courts by qualifying for the US Open for the first time in his career, and made the second round in New York before losing to another qualifier Yibing Wu of China.
He was last in action in Sofia, where he also got to the second round, beaten on that occasion in straight sets by Jannik Sinner.

This is a match between two men who would be happier if this meeting were on clay. In the circumstances, though, the Spaniard’s greater experience may tilt the balance in his favour.
