Lorenzo Musetti v Casper Ruud

A very interesting match between two players in different moods will be played in Paris. Casper Ruud has not played well indoors and in a tell-all interview with Eurosport, he admitted that indoor tennis will never come naturally to him.

His game gets exposed more and it’s far more vulnerable to players that play really flat. Lorenzo Musetti doesn’t play that flat but the Italian has been in pretty decent shape recently with some notable results and a trophy in Napoli. He is certainly playing far better indoors than Ruud.

They played once before in 2019 on clay and Ruud won that match comfortably. I think the Italian will have a better chance here due to all circumstances but there is one bet that is far better. The over is the better option because while I don’t think Ruud will win, he might so playing the over is a safer bet.

Tip: Over 21.5 games: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Coco Gauff  v Daria Kasatkina

Some more round robin action at the WTA Finals will see Gauff battle Kasatkina. Neither played well in their previous matches and both lost. Gauff is the better player overall but she seems to be dealing with some sort of pressure that is not allowing her to play her best at the event.

She looked quite nervous against Garcia and some of those nerves will be used against her by Kasatkina who is a master at doing just that. The Russian could only do as much against Swiatek who played pretty amazingly in that clash.

The H2H favours the Russian as she beat Gauff twice so far and once this year. The win was a rather easy win in straight sets and while I don’t think it will be easy or straightforward I do think there is plenty of value on Kasatkina.

The over seems like a better option though.

Tip: Over 20.5 games: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Iga Swiatek v Caroline Garcia

The winner of this clash will secure the semi-finals of the WTA Finals so it’s a big deal. Both played really well in the previous match to enter this one with plenty of confidence. Both were quite aggressive with Garcia really strong from basically inside the court.

She will attempt a similar thing against Swiatek but it will be far tougher as the Polish player likes to attack herself and she does it pretty well. They played twice so far with one of those matches coming this year and Garcia actually won that match.

It was on clay and in Poland so that’s important to consider. What happened? Well, Swiatek played one of her worst matches of the year and she certainly won’t bring the same level here. I expect her to play much better and to win the match in straight sets.

Tip: Swiatek to win in straight sets: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
