Radu Albot v Tim van Rijthoven Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will the first match between the 33 year old Moldovan, and his Dutch opponent, eight years younger.

The first Moldovan to win senior career titles in both singles and doubles, Albot took a long time to recover from the shoulder injury that he first picked up in 2020, and in part it explains why his ranking dwindled so rapidly from his previous high of 39 in the world.
However, he is one man who will be looking forward to the Australian Open, having reached the third round there in the past two years, matching his best performance in a Grand Slam event.
He had a strong end to 2022, reaching the final of a Challenger event in Busan, South Korea, before losing in three sets to the Pole Kamil Majchrzak.
Fully fit again now, he will be looking to break back into the top 100 sooner rather than later.

Van Rijthoven Enjoyed Breakthrough Year in 2022
Van Rijthoven had a breakthrough year in 2022, winning his first senior career title on home soil on the grass of Rosmalen, beating the former world number one Daniil Medvedev in the process.
In reaching the final there, he also beat both Felix Augur Aliassime and Taylor Fritz along the way.
It meant that having started the year ranked 261 in the world, he closed it 150 places higher.
Now he is looking to push on even further in the New Year.
