Botic van de Zandschulp v Benjamin Bonzi Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between them – one on the Challenger circuit and the other at the Winston-Salem Open last season. van de Zandsculp has won both in straight sets.

After a first round bye and a 7-5, 6-4 win over Flavio Cobolli, van de Zandsculp did not have to spend a lot of time on court in his quarterfinal victory against Maximilian Marterer.
In fact, it took all of 68 minutes for van de Zandsculp to cruise into the semifinal as he defeated Marterer 6-4, 6-2.
Van de Zandsculp did not face a single break point in the entire contest, while overcoming his opponent’s serve three times from the five chances he got. In fact, such was van de Zandsculp’s dominance on serve, he lost a mere five points on his first serve and three on the second in the match.
The Dutchman will hope to continue in the same vein against the in-form Bonzi as well.

Bonzi Sends Krajinovic Packing
For the third match in a row, Bonzi registered a straight-set win to move into the semifinals. The Frenchman, who had earlier routed Chun Hsin Tseng in his opener and then registered a 6-1, 7-6 (4) win over Emil Ruusuvuori in the second, sent Filip Krajinovic on his way in their last eight match.
Bonzi won 7-6 (5), 6-4 in a match that last two hours and seven minutes and saw the two players go neck in neck for most part of the contest.
Things went to serve till the seventh game of the opening set before Bonzi broke his opponent and had a chance to serve it out. Krajinovic availed of his first break-point of the set to level things out before the Frenchman claimed the set in the following tie-breaker.
In the second Bonzi was two breaks up by the third game and while he himself dropped his serve two times in the set, the Frenchman managed another break to clinch the match.
He will have his work cut out against van de Zandsculp though.
