While her elder sister Veronika is looking to maintain a spot in the top 10 of the WTA Rankings, the 19-year-old Polina is slowly gaining traction and rankings in her own way.
Polina was outside the top 700 of the WTA Rankings in 2021 but enters this season at 182nd in the world. And with three successive wins in the Australian Open qualifiers to make it to the main draw, Polina has already shown what she is capable of at this level.
