Iga Swiatek v Coco Gauff

Coco Gauff faces the tough challenge of stopping a pretty unstoppable Iga Swiatek. No player came even close to winning a set against the Polish player and Gauff is not playing a level that would make you think that she’ll do it. She had 30 unforced errors against Keys and won that match simply because her opponent had 50.

She didn’t have double-digit winners and she just lost a deciding set to Kudermetova 6-1 a few days ago. Meanwhile, Swiatek lost over two games only once in the past couple of matches and there is just not the American can do in this matchup.

The H2H heavily favours Swiatek as she leads it 5-0. Four of those matches happened last year and the most games she lost in a match is four games.

She’s been utterly dominant in the last two matches that finished 6-0 6-3 and 6-3 6-0 for the Polish player. Back her to keep it under once more.

Tip: Under 19.5 games in the match: 3/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Jessica Pegula v Barbora Krejcikova

Jessica Pegula did not need to play in order to secure a spot in the semi-final because Karolina Muchova withdrew before the match. Krejcikova had to play and she played excellently to hand Aryna Sabalenka her first loss of the 2023 campaign.

It was a superb match from Krejcikova who seems to be getting to her top level after struggling with injuries. She plays very flat groundstrokes and they work really well in Dubai. She will trade blows with Pegula and it should be a really interesting matchup.

They played once this year already and it was at the Australian Open with Pegula winning 7-5 6-2. I do think she’s likely to win again because she’s been a bit more consistent and has played well at this event but expect it to be a bit closer than the one in Australia.

It’s largely going to come down to who plays better and finds a better rhythm but I believe in the consistency of Pegula far more.

Tip: Pegula to win the match: 8/15 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Andy Murray v Jiri Lehecka

Andy Murray managed another comeback win in Doha as he faced Alexander Muller who won the opening set. After that, Murray took control of the match and won the next two 6-1 6-2. It seems like Murray needs a bit of time to finally get going this year.

All of his major wins have been comeback wins and they usually came after he complicated things a bit. He’ll need to be careful against Jiri Lehecka because the Czech player is somewhat similar but once he fins a rhythm nobody is stopping him.

The biggest concern here would be the fitness of Murray as he spent quite a bit of time on the courts already with Lehecka being young and hungry for success. I do think, both players can realistically win this match and I’m not sure which way I would lean.

The over seems rather likely considering the circumstances although I do think we might see Lehecka getting the job done.

Tip: Over 20,5 games: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
