Stefanos Tsitsipas v Jordan Thompson

This is a very interesting round-two matchup for several reasons. Thompson is playing really well at the moment having arrived here after some very good results on the Challenger Tour. His game has always been an interesting blend of defence and attacking with the conditions giving him a good amount of time to set up.

That might be very promising for him as he faces a very ‘down’ Tsitsipas. The Greek struck a sombre tone before the event openly admitting that he doesn’t expect to do much at this event due to his injury from which he just came back.

I expect a close and competitive match due to the circumstances. I can see Thompson giving him trouble even though he didn’t in the past. Tsitsipas leads the matchup 2-0 and neither of those matches was particularly close.

However, I think the Australian can use his great form at this moment to push Tsitsipas into some longer rallies which would not be good for him. I think that we’ll see an over for sure however I’m not certain if Thompson can pull off the upset.

Tip: Over 20.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Alexander Zverev v Pedro Cachin

Zverev has been slowly building up his form over the past few weeks and he’s looking better and better. The serve is looking dangerous again and he’s playing with a lot of conviction in his game. That should be very good for him even though he hasn’t played that great here.

His best result in recent years was a quarter-final but he never pushed past that. His opponent is someone who doesn’t even play that many hard courts and certainly doesn’t play them well. Yes, this is a very slow one but it’s still a hard court.

Cachin did well to defeat Basilashvili in round one but the Georgian defeated himself primarily. He won’t get that many free points against Zverev. It’s their first matchup so neither knows what to expect. Zverev’s score so far is 6-7 but Cachin’s is only 2-8.

Take the German to keep this one a simple straight-set victory. Whether you play that or the under is your personal choice but either is fine. The under is slightly riskier.

Tip: Under 21.5 games in the match: 4/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Andrey Rublev v Jiri Lehecka

What makes this particular matchup very interesting is the fact that they played recently and that Lehecka won that matchup. Nobody saw this crazy rise by Lehecka coming but it seems very legit as the Czech player is keeping up the high level.

Rublev started to play like himself recently as well so we should get a really entertaining clash between two very good players. The Russian is better of course and he’s played well here in the past. A semi-final last year and a loss to Fritz should make him even more motivated this year.

All of their previous matches saw Lehecka hang around pretty well and I think he will too. Rublev is the favourite and should win but I don’t see it coming easy. Both can set up nicely with the serve and the forehand is really strong in both. In that scenario, I could see two very close sets, even tiebreak ones.

Take Rublev to win if you want to pick a winner but we advise the over because Lehecka is yet to lose in straight sets to Rublev.

Tip: Over 22.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
