Richard Gasquet v Jordan Thompson Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before, Thompson winning on each occasion.
Their first meeting was actually on grass at Rosmalen four years ago, the Australian winning in straight sets.
He also won on the clay of Barcelona two years later.

Gasquet’s CV includes two Wimbledon semi-finals and three fourth round appearances, although it has been seven years since he last enjoyed a substantive run at the All-England club.
And he has appeared in three senior finals on grass winning two of them, although the last of those triumphs, in Rosmalen, came in 2018.
This season, though, he has enjoyed mixed results on grass.
In Stuttgart, he reached the quarter-finals, enjoying a three set victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas along the way, before his run was ended by the German Jan-Lennard Struff.
However, he failed to get beyond the first round in Halle, Jannik Sinner ending his hopes with a three set defeat.

Last year in the lead up to Wimbledon, Thompson won in Surbiton and was a runner-up in Nottingham.
Returning to Surbiton this year, he reached the semi-finals only to lose to Andy Murray, before stepping up to the main tour and impressing in Halle.
There he went all the way to the final before losing in three sets to Tallon Griekspoor.
Last week at the Queen’s Club he beat compatriot Alexei Popyrin before his run was ended by Cameron Norrie, but not before he took the first set.
Thompson is just the sort of opponent seeds will want to avoid when the Wimbledon draw is made.
Gasquet v Thompson Prediction and Tip
This is a match between two men who have both proved they can compete on grass.
Gasquet’s achievements, though, lie largely in the past, whereas Thompson is very much of the present.
That tips the odds in favour of the Australian.
