Tallon Griekspoor will be making his third appearance at Wimbledon and the Dutchman comes into the tournament in top form.
The 27-year-old world no. 31 has played eight matches on grass courts this year and he has a 7-1 record.
Griekspoor won his second ATP title last month by beating Jordan Thompson in the final of the Rosmalen Open. He then went on to reach the quarterfinals in Halle, before being beaten by Andrey Rublev.
The Dutchman had also won his first ATP title this year, when he ousted Banjamin Bonzi in the final of the Maharashtra Open.
Seeded no. 28 in the tournament, Griekspoor will come in with a lot of confidence and will hope to better his previous best, which was a second round appearance last year.
He is 23-11 so far this year and that record is likely to get better at Wimbledon.

Playing Griekspoor in the first round will be world no. 67 Marton Fucsovics, who was a quarterfinalist at Wimbledon two years ago.
The Hungarian is in fine form at the moment, having gone from the qualifiers to the semifinals in Stuttgart. That was the only grass court tournament he featured in in the lead up to Wimbledon, but on the way to the semis he defeated Denis Shapovalov, Wu Yibing and Taylor Fritz.
Wins over such good players would have certainly boosted his confidence before the grass court major, where he will be making his sixth appearance.
In addition to his quarterfinal finish in 2021, he has won just one more match and that was in 2019. Other than that he has made first round exits in 2017, 2018 and 2022.

Expect a very tight contest between the two. Both come in good form as well. Griekspoor, however, holds slight edge as he has been in fantastic form throughout the season and has already won two titles.
