Katie Boulter v Diane Parry Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, and that was in the first round of qualifying for Indian Wells earlier this year. Boulter won in straight sets.

Boulter has only ever made the main draw of the US Open once before, and that was in 2021, when she was beaten in the first round. However, she returns this year with new found confidence, having become the British number one, and having secured her first WTA title on grass at Nottingham.
She would go on to reach the third round of Wimbledon for the second successive year. Results since then have been more mixed.
She was beaten in the second round of qualifying in Washington, and, although she did qualify in Montreal, was beaten in the second round by Coco Gauff.
Most recently, she had to pull out of her first round Cincinnati qualifying match with a slight injury.

Former Top Ranked Junior Parry
A former junior world number one, Parry has won two doubles titles this year, winning with different partners in Merida, Mexico, and Lausanne. And she also won a Challenger event on clay in her native France in May.
Like Boulter, though, she has never been beyond the first round in New York, a stage she reached in 2019, and again last year.
Her best recent result came on clay in Lausanne, where she reached the semi-finals before losing to compatriot Clara Burel.
She failed to qualify for Cincinnati, and then lost in the first round in Chicago.
Boulter v Parry Prediction and Tip
Neither woman has any track record in New York, and, whoever wins, will find themselves in the second round for the first time.
Based, though, on the result of their one previous match earlier this year, Boulter can be considered the favourite.
