Even so, she’s capable on hard courts, especially in the right circumstances. What better circumstances than playing your home major? The opponent is a tricky one, certainly one that could beat her if she doesn’t properly approach the match.
She’ll need to produce a really good effort, but she’s younger and likely going to see more crowd support. Those things could be a factor, especially in a longer match.
