Federico Delbonis v Ricardas Berankis Head to Head
The pair have met three times before and Delbonis leads their head to head series by two matches to one. The Lithuanian won their encounter in a Challenger event back in 2011, but the Argentine was victorious in their two meeting sin 2016, in Houston and Basel, the former on clay.

Delbonis has been in four ATP finals, all on clay, but it has been five years since he won the last of his two titles in Morocco, although he did reach another final in the doubles earlier this year. With partner Jaume Munar he was a beaten finalist in Santiago.
That trip to neighbouring Chile also brought his best result in singles this year – he reached the semi-finals before losing to compatriot Facundo Bagnis.
Since then, he suffered a first round defeat in Miami and went out at the second round stage in Marbella.
He was forced to come through two rounds of qualifying to make the main draw in Monte Carlo, but then enjoyed a good win in the first round over the experienced French competitor Adrian Mannarino.
However, he was then swept aside by Rafael Nadal, Delbonis winning just three games off the Spaniard.

Berankis Continues to Fly the Flag for Lithuania
Berankis continues to fly the flag for Lithuanian tennis and remains the best player the country has ever produced, male or female, even though it has been four years since he last reached a singles final on the main tour, losing the Kremlin Cup to Damir Dzumhur.
Clay is not his preferred surface, although he did win his solitary senior title on it, in the doubles in Houston in 2015.
Now 30, 2021 so far has been a steady year for him, with his best result coming in the Melbourne warm-up event, the Murray River Open, where he reached the third round.
He was beaten in the second round of the Australian Open by Karen Khachanov, and exited the two tournaments he has entered since, Miami, and Andalucía, at the same stage.
