Ash Barty v Jil Teichmann Head to Head
There have been no previous meetings between Barty and Teichmann before this.

The last time Barty lost a WTA match was early in June when she retired from the French Open second round encounter because of an injury.
And by defeating Angelique Kerber in the semifinal here in Cincinnati, Barty has now won 11 matches in a row – nine of which have come in straight sets including four in a row in this tournament.
Having defeated Heather Watson, Victoria Azarenka and Barbora Krejcikova in the first three rounds here, Barty registered a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Kerber in a mere hour and 16 minutes to march into her sixth final of the season.
Barty needed five games to finally break past Kerber in the first set, but when she did, the world number one added another one to her kitty to clinch the opening set.
She went 2-0 up in the second, only to drop back to back serves and then regained that by breaking Kerber in the sixth game to make it 3-3. Things went on serve till 6-5 when Kerber wilted under the pressure to hold on to serve to stay in the match with Barty breaking to seal the deal.
She has already won four titles and Barty will be a humongous favourite to claim her fifth one here.

Teichmann in Another Shock Win
Continuing with her stunning run in this competition, Teichmann registered another shock win in the semifinal to seal her maiden WTA 1000 title-decider berth in Cincinnati.
And that came at the expense of a stunning win over Karolina Pliskova, another player who has been in the form of the season more recently, having also reached the Wimbledon final.
Teichmann, who had earlier ousted Naomi Osaka in the tournament, roared past Pliskova 6-2, 6-4 in a mere hour and 24 minutes to seal her meeting with Barty.
Things went to serve in the first four games of the opening set before Teichmann reeled off four games in a row to capture the set. Pliskova held on to her serve in the first six games but an exchange of breaks later, Teichmann broke her again before serving out the match.
The Swiss player clinched the encounter on her first match-point to enter the biggest match of her career.
Barty v Teichmann Prediction and Tip
For all that Teichmann has done in this tournament, Barty’s form and class would be too much to handle for the Swiss. Expecting a straight-set win here.
