Ilya Ivashka v Lloyd Harris Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 27-year-old Belarussian, and the South African, who is three years younger.

Ivashka is hoping to build on his achievements of 2021, which included his first win over a top ten player, beating Alexander Zverev in Munich where he reached the semi-finals, a fourth round appearance at Wimbledon and, the icing on the cake, winning his first senior ATP title in Winston-Salem.
However, having chosen to miss the Australian season, he is now playing catch-up to many of the other players on tour, who have already got a number of matches under their belt this year.
Rustiness can, in part, explain his first round loss to the American Mackenzie McDonald, the world number 56, in the first round in Montpellier, going down in straight sets.
A win over Harris would be a good way to finally get 2022 underway.

Harris Aiming to Jump Start His Season
South African number one Harris had his best year on tour in 2021.
Highlights included reaching the final of the Dubai Championships, beating three top ten players – Dominic Thiem. Rafael Nadal and Denis Shapovalov – and reaching the quarter-final of the US Open.
A semi-final appearance in Antwerp in his penultimate tournament of the year suggested there was even better to come in 2022.
So far, though, things have not gone according to plan.
He began the season in Adelaide, where, despite taking the opening set, he lost his first round match to the South Korean world number 55, Soonwoo Kwon.
Even more disappointing was what happened to him at the Australian Open, when he lost in four sets in the first round to the local wildcard Aleksandar Vukic, the world number 140.
It would be fair to say his 2022 season needs a jump start.
Ivashka v Harris Prediction and Tip
Both men come into this tie not yet having won a match in 2022. The good news for one of them is that is about to change in Rotterdam. As the higher ranked player, Harris will start the marginal favourite to edge this match.
