World No. 179 Michael Mmoh will be making his second main draw appearance at the French Open. He lost in the first round on his debut in 2020.
He is 1-0 at the tour-level this season. In his only previous tournament this year, he entered the main draw in Houston as a lucky loser, received a first round bye and then won his second round match against Sam Querrey. He had to pull out of the quarterfinal due to an injury.
Mmoh has mostly been playing at the Challenger Tour this season. He reached his only final of the season in Tallahassee in April, but couldn’t add to his five Challenger titles.
The 24-year-old doesn’t have a lot of experience on clay at any level and has won just one ITF title on the surface.

Zapata Miralles Comes Through Qualifiers
Bernabe Zapata Miralles’ French Open debut last year lasted only four set as he went down to Carlos Alcaraz in the first round.
This year the World No. 133 is once again in the main draw, having come through the qualifiers.
Zapata Miralles defeated Dudi Sela and Gastão Elias in straight sets in the first two qualifying rounds respectively, but he was tested by Luca Nardi in the third qualifying round on Thursday. The Spaniard however came back from a set down to go through. He will now be hoping to carry the momentum into the first round.
Zapata Miralles has done well in the qualifiers this season but hasn’t been able to deliver in the main draws, where he has a 3-7 record. He will however be encouraged by the fact that two of those wins came on clay in Estoril and Barcelona.
Clay remains his preferred surface where he has three Challenger and seven ITF titles.

Zapata Miralles has got into a good rhythm in the qualifiers. Expect him to register his first main draw win in Roland Garros on Sunday.
