Madison Keys v Elena Rybakina Head to Head
Keys leads 2-0, and both those victories came in 2022. They last met in the Cincinnati Open quarterfinal, where the American won in straight sets.

Madison Keys, current World No. 18, is coming off a first-round exit at the hands of Viktorija Golubic in the Tallinn Open last week.
But overall, she has had a decent spell in 2022 with a tally of 26-16 and a singles title from the Adelaide International at the start of the year. More recently, she reached the semifinal in Cincinnati – beating Jelena Ostapenko and Iga Swiatek en route – and the third round in the US Open.
Keys was also consistent in the big-ticket events, starting with a semifinal finish in the Melbourne Slam, a quarterfinal feat in Indian Wells, and later, a couple of mid-round showings in Paris and London.

Rybakina, On Shaky Grounds
Reigning Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina starts the week in Ostrava with a singles record of 35-18.
Her last tournament was in Tokyo, where she fell to Liudmila Samsonova in round one. The Kazakh was slated to compete in Tallinn but withdrew from the competition.
Since her historic feat at SW19 – where she dismissed the likes of Petra Martic, Bianca Andreescu, Simona Halep, and Ajla Tomljanvoic – Rybakina has delivered a quarterfinal result in Cincinnati (beating Garbine Muguruza in round two) and picked up the runner-up silverware in Portoroz.
Needless to say, Elena is not a one-hit-wonder, as evident from her career trajectory so far and an impressive resume against the top 20 on the circuit.
Keys v Rybakina Prediction and Tip
The match can swing either way.
Both players have a strong pedigree, like to hit big strokes, and are coming off rusty performances. It is hard to call a winner at this point, but Keys has the edge owing to her head-to-head dominance against her opponent. Expect an entertaining match.
