Having beaten a litany of big names already this season, Aryna looks wonderfully primed to keep that momentum going. So far, she has been beaten only by Barbora Krejickova and Elena Rybakina.
Sabalenka also has a decent record in Miami, which includes a quarterfinal result in 2021 and a doubles title in 2019.

Bouzkova Moves Past Blinkova
Marie Bouzkova had to work hard to avoid an early upset when she took on Anna Blinkova. The match lasted for two and a half hours and saw the Czech fight her way to the win with 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
She is now 5-8 this year and has finally snapped her three-match losing streak.
Since reaching the second round in Dubai (loss to Rybakina), Bouzkova moved on to lose in the opening rounds in Monterrey and Indian Wells, respectively, to Anna Karolina Schmiedlova and Marketa Vondrousova.
The current World No. 36 has spent the year so far incurring early losses, with this ongoing run in Miami being her best result yet. With not many big wins under her belt, Marie will undoubtedly need to bring her best game forward to even test Aryna in this upcoming match.
