Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will be joined by Caroline Garcia and Felix Auger-Aliassime on day two of the of the 2023 French Open as they take to court for their first round matches. Below is the list of key matches to be played today along with the French Open tips and predictions for them.

With both Djokovic and Alcaraz on a semifinal collision course, it would be interesting to watch how they navigate through some of their initial rounds. Both players have relatively unheralded opponents first up and shouldn’t take a lot of time on court but do check on what our predictions for those matches are.

Also in action with Caroline Garcia who will take to court on Philippe-Chatrier. She has had a decent season so far but it’s been a far cry from how things went for her in 2022. She faces Wang Xiyu first up.

Jannik Sinner was under a bit of a fitness cloud but all seems to be well for now as he takes to court for his opener against Alexandre Muller.

Some of the other players in action today include Britain’s Cameron Norrie, Belinda Bencic, Petra Kvitova, Felix Auger-Aliassime who is also returning from bit of an injury scare, Elina Svitolina and Veronika Kudermetova.
