Medvedev is joined by Jannik Sinner who has taken a wild card and replaces the injured defending champion Tim van Rijthoven who hasn’t recovered from an elbow injury.

Our 2023 ATP Libema Open Predictions & Picks
What a strong lineup we have at the ATP Libema Open, at least on paper. There is a mix of big hitters and flat hitters, so this could be a really open tournament.
Among the top eight seeds, Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner probably stand out. But look out for the Dutch duo of Botic van de Zandschulp and Tallon Griekspoor to keep home fans on the edge of their seats.
Van de Zandschulp in particular had an excellent season grass last year, reaching the semifinal at Queens and the round of 16 at Wimbledon. So the 27-year-old’s wait for a first ATP title could end on home territory.
There could be decent value in taking any of the big servers as a long shot to win the tournament. I fully expect Maxime Cressy to get some wins under his belt.
The American is in the worst form of his life having lost nine matches in a row and last won an ATP match in February. But grass could see Cressy end his infamous record. While Alexei Popyrin and Gijs Brouwer could prove a handful for the seeded players.
