Lucia Bronzetti of Italy ranked World No. 62, is set to compete in her first grass tournament of the year. Over the seasons, her overall record on the surface stands at 2-3.

Most recently, she played in the ITF Rome, where she fell in round two to the qualifier, then #444 Anna Turati in three sets.

After starting the season on a seven-match losing streak, Bronzetti rose to the occasion by reaching the final in ITF Croissy-Beaubourg and later winning her first WTA title in the Rabat Grand Prix. Between that, Lucia also was a semifinalist in the Florence Challenger.

Her tally for the year stands at 17-17, marked largely by inconsistencies. When she does perform, however, she truly impresses.
