Will Iga Swiatek demolish another opponent? Can Holger Rune continue his march on clay? Is Casper Ruud going to face a tough time? All these questions and more answered below in our 2023 French Open predictions and tips for the fourth round action on Monday, June 5.

The Phillipe-Chatrier Court will see Ons Jabeur start things off against a tricky opponent in the form of Bernarda Pera for their fourth round match. While Jabeur looks like she has shrugged off her recent fitness woes, Pera has been in some good form too.

Following them will be the previous year’s runner-up Casper Ruud who faces a tricky opponent in the form of Nicolas Jarry. While Ruud has been showing some signs of resurrection he will know that Jarry will be no pushover.

Cori Gauff should not have a lot of problem against Anna Karolina Schmiedlova after having gotten the better of another teenager in the form of Mirra Andreeva in the previous round. And the action at this court will end with a match between the resurgent Alexander Zverev and Grigor Dimitrov.

Over at the Suzanne-Lenglen Court, Beatriz Haddad Maia will be up against the surprise entrant Sara Sorribes Tormo, who was benefitted from the withdrawal of Elena Rybakina.

Holger Rune, who is emerging as a favourite to make the final from the bottom section faces Francisco Cerundolo which will be followed by the world number one Iga Swiatek taking to court. She faces Lesia Tsurenko in her fourth round match following her 6-0, 6-0 drubbing of Xinyu Wang in the previous match.

In the last match on this court, Yoshihito Nishioka will be up against Tomas Etcheverry for a place in the quarterfinals.
