The second round of matches kick-start from Wednesday, May 31 and it’s a day filled with superstars taking to court. All of Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka, Novak Djokovic, Jessica Pegula and Stefanos Tsitsipas among others will be in action. Get the French Open tips and predictions for the day below.
Pegula will be the first on court at the Court Philippe-Chatrier as she takes on Camila Giorgi and will be followed by Caroline Garcia who had had a fighting first round win. The third match at the same court will see Carlos Alcaraz facing Taro Daniel.
Also in action there will be Novak Djokovic who takes on Marton Fucsovics in the second round.
Over at Court Suzanne-Lenglen, Tsitsipas will face Roberto Carballes-Baena in the opening encounter before Daria Kasatkina takes to court for her second round match. Aryna Sabalenka and Cameron Norrie are the others to face up to their opponents here today.
The Simonne-Mathieu court will see Storm Hunter kick-start the action against Elina Svitolina before Stan Wawrinka faces Thanasi Kokkinakis. Andrey Rublev will also be in action here before Leolina Jeanjean faces up to Elina Avanesyan.
Some of the others who will be in second round play today include Jelena Ostapenko, Liudmilla Samsonova, Hubert Hurkacz, Lorenzo Musetti and Karen Khachanov.
